Celebrate 150 years of the Great Northern Railway (Ireland) on its own main line with a fun day out. Our steam train, hauled by the magnificent No.171 "Slieve Gullion", will be departing from Dublin Connolly and taking us north on the original route these locomotives once worked.

Enjoy a few hours in Dundalk before returning to Dublin again by steam.

Alternatively, if you live in Dundalk, then take a return trip to Drogheda.

Or do both!!

The train will be made up of steam locomotive and our own carriages, complete with the usual facilities of snack car serving a variety of hot and cold items throughout the day alongside our renowned bar car with draught and craft beer available.
