Victorian Street Fair

This annual winter event in Whitehead takes the form of a street fair, and we will be joining in the fun.

So, step back in time this Victorian Street Fair Day and experience the magic of steam with a nostalgic ride aboard one of our heritage trains at Whitehead Railway Museum.

To celebrate the event, we’re offering special discounted fares for one day only.

Your ticket also includes entry to our award-winning Museum, where you can explore beautifully restored locomotives, see the engines come to life, and soak up the festive atmosphere.

Make a day of it in Whitehead – the Victorian Street Fair runs from 12 noon to 6 pm, with stalls, entertainment, and plenty of community cheer. Then hop aboard for a steam-powered journey, with short train rides available from 1.30 pm to 4pm.

It’s the perfect way to step into the past and enjoy a truly festive family day out!
