The preparation of parts for NCC spare boiler and 2-6-0 Class W Mogul rebuild.

9/2/2019: Along with new tyres for No.4 and No.105, the front ring was purchased for the new NCC boiler. The front tubeplate will be fitted to this.
9/2/2019: The dome for the new NCC boiler.
4/5/2019: Tyres were obtained for No.4 and the spare NCC driving axles. A tyre is removed from one of the three spare sets. The gas-fired heating ring can be seen underneath.
13/7/2019: Brian Hill setting up the last of the spare W/WT wheelsets for turning prior to fitting of new tyres.
13/7/2019: The second of the spare W/WT wheelsets has been re-tyred.
27/7/2019: The cutting tool on the wheel lathe is trimming the inside surface of one of the new tyres on the spare wheelset.
27/7/2019: The finished surface of the machined tyre. The inside surfaces of both tyres need skimmed to ensure the distance between them is 5ft exactly.
