Dinosaur Express

In conjunction with Jurassic Loc-Down, Whitehead Railway Museum is offering an opportunity like no other. Hop on board our first ever Dinosaur Express. You will be joined in your carriage by a range of baby dinosaurs. Of course, your safety is a priority to us and each dinosaur will be kept under control by its handler!

When you reach the Whitehead Railway Museum, get ready to see what the baby dinosaurs will become. Get up close to an enormous triceratops, take some snaps of the caged raptor, and explore the world of dinosaurs in the mobile museum. We’ll leave it up to you to decide which of these breathtaking creatures has the biggest stomp on the platform!

We are sure that the memories made during this event will stay with you for a long time. It is an experience you cannot get anywhere else and is likely to sell quickly, so early booking is advisable.

Note: The Dinosaur Express is not a heritage operation and transport to Whitehead will be by modern diesel train.

There will be two booking options - depart Belfast Lanyon Place at 11a.m. or 2p.m.
