A Statement From The RPSI Chairman

In view of the current concern about the spread of Coronavirus and the directions given both by the UK and Irish Governments, the RPSI has taken a decision to cancel all its trains and events and to close the Whitehead Railway Museum and its Edwardian Tearoom to visitors until further notice.

We trust that you will understand this decision and continue to support the Society in the meantime as we, like other charities and businesses, will find this a very challenging time.

For those who have booked on the cancelled Dublin trips, refunds will be issued from Eventbrite over the next few days. Those who have booked for the Lough Foyle Railtour will have received a communication.

The Chairman and Board are mindful of the pressure that this situation places on all our staff and active volunteers and the management and staff of our partners in Translink and Iarnród Éireann and ask that they be given every encouragement and support as they struggle to cope with an unprecedented crisis.
